It reminds me of the time when I knew I could not afford an agency and got a friend of a friend who worked for one doing graphic design to do some private work for me. I still cannot believe that I agreed to her creating a special font for my logo. Are there not enough fonts in the world? I also found myself having to traipse over on a train one Sunday to have a meeting on a beach. I did not mind that it was on the beach but that the meeting was unnecessary. The more meetings then the higher the cost. So no I’m not cool enough for these people.

Love it. Am traveling in SF and visited a very cool agency yesterday – glad those days are behind me. It’s tiring trying to be cool. Much easier to be good to your clients. Thansk for the laugh.

Normally, when I comment, I like to say something really cool and witty. The kind of thing that would make other readers go, "Wow. She's a damn genius." The kind of thing that gets them off the first site and onto my own.
