What’s your game? What do you do?
I put words together in ways help businesses get stronger.
These days, I mainly do that as the chief content officer for Rainmaker Digital (the artist formerly known as Copyblogger Media), as well as my roles leading and teaching for the Authority community and for our Certified Content Marketers.
Why do you do it? Do you love it, or do you just have one of those creepy knacks?
I love it and I have one of those creepy knacks. I suspect a creepy knack usually comes from spending a whole lot of time doing The Thing.
Who are your customers? What kind of people would need or want what you offer?
Professional writers, as well as creative business owners who want more customers and don’t like obnoxious sales and marketing tactics.
What’s your marketing USP? Why should I buy from you instead of the other losers?
The kind of marketing I teach doesn’t require you to choose between your soul and the success of your business. You can have both — in fact, that’s where you find the greatest successes.
What’s next for you? What’s the big plan?
I’m living in Rome for a year with my family, so figuring out the pinnacle of gluten-free pasta is a significant goal.
That, and I’m pondering what comes next for our Authority community — a bunch of incredibly smart writers and marketers.
